I was fascinated by Russell’s story about acne and his mother and her asthma. I can definitely relate to both as one reason I changed my food program was I had acne still at 27 and asthma almost killed me twice at 33. This interview has GOT to be reassuring to people who have endured both.
Besides that, Russell talked about losing weight during a fast and not being overweight in the first place, how he works out and why, feeling discomfort around others and more.
This is a very revealing interview about his life and his health.
Oh! Be sure and pick up his ebooks! I’ve got the free one from his site and also the Thai menu. If you enjoy Thai food, you’ve GOT to get this! Also, check out his blog. Lots of good information there.
Enjoy!
Please, leave comments here. Thank you for listening.

I loved this interview. This is, by far, my favorite of your shows so far, and I am a regular listener. Thanks for getting someone real, someone who is a genuine. It’s great to listen to Russell – he seems to be genuinely nice in a totally secular way. And it is refreshing that he was not putting on a hard sell – so many raw food gurus do that, and it can get old fast.

Great interview! I especially liked that he mentioned that he spent some time transitioning, makes me feel like there doesn’t have to be a rush for me to get to where I want to be.

What a wonderful interview. Thank you.
I’ve had the pleasure of eating Russell’s food and I have to let you know it’s amazing. The creativity and passion he has for food is phenomenal. And he’s such a lovely guy.

I really enjoyed this interview with The Raw Chef. Russell came across as very authentic and encouraging. I appreciate how open he is with his experiences. I am just beginning to bounce up and down as far as the percentage raw in my diet and I’m glad to hear that many others share the same experience. Thanks for the wonderful interview!

Very wonderful interview with Russell, I love how human and non-guru he came across. The fact that he fell on and off the wagon before he committed to raw foods resonates with me, because I’ve had the same problem.
