HAD to ask Paul about his wife Andrea’s pregnancy; home-birth, food program, exercise and more. Then we got to talking about his new book, “The Daylight Diet” which will be up on this site when it’s available on Amazon. We spoke about what prompted him to write it; how to deal with hunger at night; raw junk food; emotional eating, water, what kind?

Raw Life
Blog where he’s posting a new video every day.
This is another interview that was done before Rawkin Radio came into being, just under two years ago. My first interview with Matt Monarch.
Why would a young, single bachelor change to a raw food lifestyle? After five years of eating a 100% raw food diet, Matt was inspired to write a book called Raw Spirit. He wanted to share information that he thought needed to be out there, reflecting in particular on some of the physical challenges of going raw, along with the amazing shifts he experienced on the spiritual level with this lifestyle. Raw Spirit has become one of the best-selling raw books available: people appreciate Matt’s honest approach and his willingness to discuss aspects of being raw that often go unmentioned.

Raw Model Delightful interview running longer than usual. He (and I) had thoughts on permaculture and how the people of this nation need to transition to taking more responsibility for their food and their health; homeschooling; eating fats and what kind, training.. and more. We spoke about his food program; why and how he transitioned to raw; how to BE raw living in cold country, his blog/sites and where he’s going and what he’s doing. I really loved this line: “Nature’s a buffet”. Yes, it is. You’ll enjoy this.
In this interview we speak with Frank about his training, experience, how long he’s been “cheffing”; why and how he went from the usual culinary path to vegetarian and raw. We chatted about his running experience, cross-training, diet and more. Also, his new book is out, “Raw for All” which you can purchase on his website.
Frank’s Blog
See Frank (and myself) at Raw Spirit Festival in Santa Barbara the first weekend of June.

Revvell Chats with Raw Food Chef and Author, Frank Giglio [36:58m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | DownloadFun interview as we chatted about how it was to be a competitive bodybuilder, then go raw.. what changed; eating raw in the winter; what she’ll do after pregnancy and when the baby comes; supplements; exercise; changing one’s mindset; digestion and more.
Kristen Suzanne is an accomplished Raw food chef and former competitive bodybuilder. Through radio, television, books, classes, and her blog and email newsletter, Chef Kristen Suzanne helps people live life to the fullest with the healthiest cuisine in the world.

Before getting sick, Clent Manich weighed as much as 450 pounds and was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic. During our interview we talk with him about how it was being that large and what it took to eliminate 217 pounds in less than a year. What were his fears? What had he tried before? Why raw? How much exercise did he do? Most importantly, how is this dramatic weight release affecting him mentally and emotionally.
If you enjoy our interview, I invite you to join my new program, Let’s Talk Raw where you can listen live and ask your questions. Clent will be on Let’s Talk Raw in May yet between now and then is an amazing line-up of people who’ve overcome disease and obesity whom you may want to know.
Enjoy!

I was fascinated by Russell’s story about acne and his mother and her asthma. I can definitely relate to both as one reason I changed my food program was I had acne still at 27 and asthma almost killed me twice at 33. This interview has GOT to be reassuring to people who have endured both.
Besides that, Russell talked about losing weight during a fast and not being overweight in the first place, how he works out and why, feeling discomfort around others and more.
This is a very revealing interview about his life and his health.
Oh! Be sure and pick up his ebooks! I’ve got the free one from his site and also the Thai menu. If you enjoy Thai food, you’ve GOT to get this! Also, check out his blog. Lots of good information there.
Enjoy!
Please, leave comments here. Thank you for listening.
I asked Dr. Graham to join me here again because there was a recent issue about cacao and the 80/10/10 diet was brought into the discussion. Besides responding to the statements made we also spoke about eating raw (specifically the 80/10/10) in colder areas, anti-nutrients, eating the same thing daily, does cacao REALLY “cure cavities’?, water, children and raw and their teeth, nutrition and lifestyle; emotional eating and more.
This is a special hour-long edition.
Please join Dr. Graham and I on my newest program, Let’s Talk Raw where you, as the listener, can ask YOUR questions about health, the 80/10/10 diet and more.
Enjoy and Injoy,
Jinjee Talifero will be relating the potential for hour-long labors and ease of child-birth as she speaks about her four pregnancies and at-home births. Please join us for this amazing discussion. Ecstatic Birthing – After two raw vegan pregnancies that resulted in hour-long labors and two cooked-vegan pregnancies that resulted in 30-hour labors, Jinjee saw the light – literally. With a vision of spinning molecules in living food creating more elastic tissues in the body she realized with a certainty that this is way we are meant to eat. Here how Jinjee is bringing up four children on a raw vegan diet. ( update) Jinjee Talifero is the mother of 5 children, two of whom were born while she was still on a cooked food program and three who were born while she was a raw vegan. This interview will tell how she and her husband Storm met and how she ventured on her raw food journey; the challenges she met (and is still encountering) on the way; and having, schooling and bringing up5 children on the garden diet.

Many have told me I should interview Bruce Horowitz and I found him as a “friend” on FaceBook and asked if he’d be willing. He was so, we spoke about how he began with raw having Crohn’s disease; the importance of community; whether he eats at set times or “grazes” throughout the day. We also spoke about permaculture and growing one’s own food. We spoke about certain issues such as cabbage moths and slugs (duck deficiency) and the complex systems of nature. My final questions to him were about the raw food movement, crisis and sustainability.
You can find Bruce at his websites: The Sun Kitchen and Raw Permaculture.
