Before hearing Dr. Graham speak at the Raw Spirit Festival, I’d heard many things about his 80/10/10 diet. It sounded to me like something that would be REALLY difficult to maintain, too low in fats, etc. After hearing him speak all I could say was “He really makes sense”. I immediately went and purchased two books ~ “The 80/10/10 Diet, Balancing Your Health, Your Weight, and Your Life, One Luscious Bite at a Time” and “The New High Energy Diet Recipe Guide “. Dr. Graham makes being raw and being healthy soooo easy. You don’t really have to think about it.
This was so good, we went longer than our usual half hour and covered, bloating, supplements, individual differences, cleansing, FAT!, fasting, organic vs. conventional produce, fear of fruit, sprouting and SO much more.
You might also want to check out my blog where I mention something he wrote about germs causing disease. Fascinating!

Thanks for such a great interview Revvell!!! Dr. Graham is full of so much valuable information. I enjoyed this interview immensely.
“The shortest route is the easiest route.” ~Dr. Doug Graham
I agree completely!!! Trying to transition to raw never worked for me. Going 100% 80/10/10 without looking back was the best thing I ever did. It was surprisingly easy and 9 months later I’m still feeling amazing and going strong!!! Eating this way doesn’t require extra thought. I can enjoy life without thinking about food 24 hours a day. This is by far the easiest, most natural way to ever go raw!

Hi Sarah,
Thank you for the input. I’m reading the book and seeing how it all makes sense. One really doesn’t have to think about it which certainly makes life easy. I’m glad you enjoyed our interview. Plan on having him back as soon as his next book comes out.
Injoy,
Revvell

I appreciated this interview with Doug so much. Having read his book I struggled trying to eat that way.. hearing here that the balance with motion/activity level was absolutely required helped me see where I was not actually doing the whole shebang. I totally missed that reading his book – and I KNOW it was in there. Sometimes it takes several hearings or readings for some thing to sink in.

Dr. Graham is so refreshing in his manner of explaining ideas. I never get the feeling he’s selling anything, unlike some other “gurus” in the raw food world (after all, when all you eat is fruit and veggies it’s hard to package your own and claim it’s the key ingredient), and he backs up what he asserts . Please do interview him when his next book comes out. Thanks for all the great interviews.
